Fowlescombe Mangalitsa Guanciale 70g (sliced)
Fowlescombe Mangalitsa Guanciale (or Pig’s cheek or jowel bacon) is made from the neck and shoulder fillet of pork, simply cured and air dried for a minimum of three months. A highly sought after charcuterie cut, it has a stronger flavour than pancetta but can used in similar ways.
Our Mangalitsa comes from Fowlescombe farm, where pigs live a healthy, free-range life in the woodlands, foraging, picking up plenty of wild plant foods as they root around.
Note: Guancia is Italian for cheek. Miale means pig. Conjoined (Guanciale) means pigs’ cheek.

This product will arrive with a minimum of 12 days shelf life. Once opened consume within 3 days.
- Simply serve as a starter with fresh watercress and lemon infused olive oil.
- Make parcels by wrapping around soft goat’s cheese and a few raisins that have been soaked in white wine vinegar. Accompany with dressed, grilled chicory and a good glass of Sardinian Vermentino.

Place your order before 11am to qualify for next day delivery. Orders placed after 11am will be dispatched the following day for overnight delivery.
All our deliveries to UK mainland addresses are by DPD and charged at £4.95.
