Rare & Pasture is now certified a B Corp

We’re proud to announce that Rare & Pasture has officially become a Certified B Corporation, joining a global community of companies committed to using business as a force for good.

As a B Corp, we’re independently assessed on our social and environmental performance – thereby ensuring our actions match our words. Certification demonstrates that we balance profit with responsibility, that we provide beneficial conditions for our workers, support our local community and – our biggest passion – that we champion the movement toward regenerative farming that gives back to the planet rather than takes from it. We’re particularly proud that a charcuterie business such as ours is setting a positive path for others to follow.

Gaining B Corp certification was particularly challenging for us because the rules consider anyone operating in the meat sector to be “an extractive industry”. This essentially puts us in the same bracket as mining, assuming likely harm to water courses and a general “take” from nature’s resources rather than a “give”. Our regenerative farming policies and our obsession with our own environmental footprint (86% of our electricity consumption during summer 2025 was generated by solar on our farm) were things that made a difference.

B Corp is a reflection of the way we have always worked –with respect for animals, people, and the planet. From our regenerative farm in Devon to our skilled teams crafting exceptional charcuterie, everything we have always done has been guided by care, transparency, and purpose. But more exciting is the future. B Corp gives us very clear direction on where we should up our game over the next few years.
For our customers, it’s simple: we invite you to join us in supporting food that restores the land, honours animal welfare, and celebrates the craft of good meat.

Better meat. Better farming. Better future
